about meI live in Richmond, VA, with my wife and my daughter (above), August. I have proudly been teaching in Richmond Public Schools at Franklin Military Academy for six years.
I went to college at William and Mary, where I earned both a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in science education. I hold a VA teaching license with endorsements in both biology and physics. When I'm not teaching, you can find me spending time with my family around the city, listening to music, reading novels, or gardening in my backyard. |
My missionAs a science teacher, my mission is teach my students how to act like scientists. I want my students to be interested in what we study and feel challenged by the activities we engage in.
In class, we ask questions, perform scientific investigations, collaborate, think critically, and learn how science is relevant to everyday people. |
